You’ve heard by now that Washington state has passed a new law mandating public long-term care (LTC) benefits for Washington employees.
 
The current bill will require employers and/or employees to purchase their own private, long-term care coverage by November 1, 2021.
 
You still have a little time to consider options on your long-term care options. Employees can shop on their own. Or as an employer, you could look at providing Long Term Care Insurance as a benefit to your employees (minimum of 5 to qualify).
